I like to choose triangle budget and then I just reduce the number until it looks like a reasonable number of triangles *Then select all again and choose the Reduce tool, this will get the triangle count back to a reasonable number.

Wrap a rubber band around the hinge and popsicle stick, and attach two more rubber bands around the hooks.
